Overview

The Albino Red Topaz Guppy is a prime example of the many unique and prized varieties of Fancy Guppies that have been developed through years of painstaking research and selective breeding. An ornamental fish, these beauties will add a lot of interest to your aquaria. With distinctive red eyes, their bodies and fins are platinum with heavy red and blue coloration throughout. These guppies are sure to add plenty of color and activity to your community aquarium.

This freshwater fish species can make its home in tank sizes of 10 gallons or more. With their peaceful nature, Albino Red Topaz Guppies make great additions to an existing environment with other easygoing fish that have similar tank and water requirements.

The Red Eye Sky Blue Topaz Guppy is a hardy and energetic fish, which makes it an excellent choice for beginners. They are live bearing fish and are fairly easy to breed when provided with a covering of floating plants and a breeding box to protect the fry from adults. The fry should be fed brine shrimp, micro food, and pulverized flakes. For adults, algae-based flake food, along with brine shrimp, freeze-dried bloodworms and tubifex make for excellent nutrition.
